De Philia Cafe 强辉冰室

Visited a few times and I would say the food are excellent in terms of taste, smell, freshness & appearance. Chef has clearly put so much efforts to cooking good food can smell the aroma when the food arrives, increasing my appetite. Service is a 10/10, heard it’s a family run restaurant, really appreciate the warm welcome and goodbye every visit. Atmosphere & hygiene is decent where parking is also ample around. Thank you for the great experience!

Cozy cafe run by uncles that are friendly and attentive. Tried the aglio olio with smoke duck! It was surprisingly good and flavourful but a lil spicy tho. Would definitely come back to try more dishes !!

One of my favo cafe here. Healthy food. I only able to take the empty bowl hahahaa as my daughter finish everything! Vege soup + rice + very soft Chicken breast. Even drinks are great. Owner prepare the food with heart this is what I can say Thanks!

Summary: it is a more delicious version of Kim Gary or Wong Kok style Cantonese restaurant which does not give you a "standard kitchen" subpar taste. Honestly speaking I passed by this shop many times and never thought of dine in, probably due to the unattractive signboard and minimal interior design. But trust me this family run restaurant is serving good food, delicious, big portion yet at very reasonable price. Definitely deserve more attention and more business.

Food was goood! Very good price! Overall 10/10!!! we went in pretty late, but they still welcomed us! Very good service too, think its a family business. Father and son very good segregation of tasks hehe. Whole meal for 5 of us, we ordered 5 dishes, and 3 drinks. Total RM99 only!!! Didnt take photos of all the dishes though, was too hungry! Their fries are amazinggg!!!

Wanted an evening tea and most stores around here are either closed or operated by those franchise food chain, insist that I want something authentic, even as simple as a kaya toast. And I found this small store with a small signature, nothing fancy, white background with black font “强辉冰室“， tried my luck and walk in. Greed by an old uncle, the store is empty (obviously at this hour, 3:50pm), so I sat down and browse their menu, since my wife not hungry, and I dont wanna eat rice nor noodle at this hour, so i ordered a sandwich, made some modification as I prefer luncheon meat with eggs (ya, I know Im very fussy), asked two local coffee with milk and I guess I’m done. And you know what??? This is probably the best sandwich I ever tasted, I meant, sandwich is a sandwich, how great can that be right? Let me elaborate, the luncheon meat is in a very crispy form, not too thick and not too thin, fried eggs just at the right temperature and not overcooked. Tomatoes and cabbage are fresh, hold by two well toasted bread, I hope you understand the satisfying feeling Im trying to described. Coffee with milk are well mixed, good combination which blended very well, no complain as all. When I looked at the wall, I realized that other foods are definitely in my next order list, a gem in Rimbayu which you should give it a try, no fancy ads, no fancy deco but good quality of food.

Had their chicken chop with rice and a side of what seems to be phad kra pow which hit the spot. The other dish we had was the wheat noodles which had a myriad of ingredients like corn, prom slices, minced pork and it came together very well. Everything seems freshly prepared on the spot and the serving sizes for the price are worth it. Hearty and home cooked food definitely worth a try!
